Inspired by Christ's call to "Come, Follow Me," we partner with dioceses to empower vocation directors, priests, and laity with practical tools and proven strategies, sparking a hundredfold yield. Vocation Ministry is based in the Greater Houston area, and this position will be based in Houston. We are looking for someone who loves the Catholic Church, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about helping others promote vocations. Position Overview Vocation Ministry is seeking a Bilingual Presenter to deliver Vocation Ministry workshops and training for laity who would lead a parish vocation committee, and educators (teachers, catechetical leaders, etc.) who would promote vocations in their environment. The Presenter will work closely with the President to prepare for and deliver workshops. Presentations range from one to six hours and are offered both virtually and in person. The presenter will initially work alongside the President to become familiar with our workshops, materials, and presentation approach. Presenter will accompany President to workshops to observe before leading workshops independently. The Presenter can expect to deliver approximately 10 workshops and presentations per year, with the potential for additional presentations based on diocesan demand and scheduling. The position is based in Houston, TX with travel required for workshops and events throughout North America. Travel will generally include weekends and occasional weekdays. The Presenter will communicate Vocation Ministry's mission and training in a clear, engaging, and professional manner while working with a variety of audiences, including priests, diocesan leaders, parishioners, educators, and other vocation promoters. Responsibilities:

• Prepare for workshops and become familiar with Vocation Ministry materials and content.
• Present Vocation Ministry materials virtually and in-person.
• Engage and inspire audiences with enthusiasm.
• Build positive relationships with diocesan, parish, and school leaders.
• Travel from Houston as needed for workshops and events.
• Represent Vocation Ministry and its Catholic mission with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Active Catholic who embraces the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Previous public speaking experience with strong communication skills.
• Engaging, energetic, and comfortable in front of an audience.
• Reliable, organized, and a team player.
• Teaching and/or ministry experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must reside in the Greater Houston, Texas area.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Contract position; compensation based on experience and presentation responsibilities.
• Approximately 10 presentations annually, based on diocesan needs and workshop scheduling; the number of presentations is not guaranteed.
• Workshops are scheduled on mutually agreed dates.
• Travel required for workshops and events (covered by Vocation Ministry).

RATES

• Full-day (6-hour) workshop= $1,250.00 (all inclusive) After first presentation, rehearsal and minor preparation is also included in this rate.
• Half-day (3-hour) workshop= $700
• Virtual per hour workshop=$150
• We will pay an hourly rate for major preparation for first presentation.
