Vaco is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to hire a Hospice Care Consultant in the Flint, MI market. The goal is to drive referral partnerships and grow admissions across established territories. This is a relationship-focused, consultative role ideal for someone with an existing network in hospitals, physician offices, post-acute care, or senior services.
Role: Hospice Care Consultant
Location: Flint, MI
Job Type: permanent hire
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 base commission spot bonuses
What you'll do? - Build and grow referral relationships with physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and facilities
- Execute strategic territory plans to increase admissions and census
- Educate referral partners and the community on hospice services
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support patient access
- Represent the organization at community outreach and education events
What you bring?- 2 years of healthcare, hospice, home health, or medical/pharma sales experience
- Existing referral relationships in the local market strongly preferred
- Proven track record meeting referral or admissions goals
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
