Job Description

Shift: Variable 

Status: 40 hours per week 

Ready to make an impact in a fast-paced lab environment? Here's what you'll be doing:

• Keep things moving:  Handle order entry, specimen and material pick-up, transportation, and tracking with precision and a positive attitude
• Process like a pro:  Receive and process specimens and materials according to established procedures—you'll become a master of the workflow!
• Tech it up: Navigate various information systems to keep everything organized and running smoothly
• Equipment expert: Operate and maintain pre and post analytic laboratory equipment and automation systems—we'll make sure you're trained and confident
• Go the extra mile:  Perform occasional phlebotomy services when needed at your site (if applicable to your position)
• Be the friendly face: Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers with genuine courtesy and professionalism—your positive energy matters!

All of this happens under regular supervision and according to established procedures, so you'll have the support and guidance you need to succeed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Experience in a medical setting, hospital or clinic laboratory preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and human anatomy preferred.
• Candidate with college-level course work in science preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills required.
