LBI National Golf & Resort is a premier destination offering a championship 18-hole golf course, upscale dining, and a growing portfolio of weddings and special events. Position Summary & Responsibilities

The role of the Night Auditor is to ensure quality guest service while performing critical overnight accounting and operational functions. As both a guest service representative and financial controls associate, the Night Auditor serves as one of the primary points of contact during overnight hours and is responsible for accurately reconciling daily hotel transactions. This position plays a key role in ensuring a seamless transition between operational days while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and exemplify the VIVÂMEE Values at all times.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring all overnight guests feel comfortable, safe, and supported.
  • Serve as the primary front desk contact during overnight hours.
  • Check guests in and out while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
  • Perform all night audit procedures , including:
    • Reconciling daily financial transactions
    • Balancing room revenue, cash, credit cards, and other departmental postings
    • Processing end-of-day closeout and system rollovers
    • Generating and distributing daily financial and operational reports
  • Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, resolving issues when possible and escalating as needed.
  • Monitor hotel activity to ensure safety and security; document and report any incidents or inappropriate guest behavior.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette.
  • Prepare and organize next-day arrival materials , including check-in packets and reports.
  • Serve as an “information hub” for guests, providing knowledge of hotel amenities, services, local area information, and property events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
  • Assist guests with basic needs (directions, amenities, light assistance with baggage, comfort items, etc.).
  • Ensure all guest accounts are accurate and properly documented.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and cash-handling protocols.
  • Complete all overnight checklists, logs, and reports as assigned.
  • Communicate important updates, discrepancies, or issues to the Hotel Manager and morning team during shift handoff.
  • Support management with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with financial data
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly overnight
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math and computer proficiency (PMS systems preferred)
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in all guest interactions
  • Must be dependable and able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs
