Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Meat-Cutters / Butchers for 6 immediate full-time, direct hire openings across Miami-Dade County, including Miami, Doral, Hialeah, Coral Gables, and nearby areas. This is a permanent opportunity in a well-established South Florida Argentine market and steakhouse environment known for quality meats, loyal customers, and a strong community reputation.

This Meat-Cutter / Butcher role is ideal for skilled meat professionals who take pride in precision cuts, fresh product presentation, food safety, and excellent customer service. You will work with experienced meat department teams in a stable, supportive, team-oriented environment where quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are valued.

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and Englis h and have strong knife skills , meat cutting experience, and a customer-focused approach are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to continue developing your craft while working alongside highly experienced master butchers.

Key Responsibilities

- Cut, trim, bone, grind, and prepare beef, pork, poultry, and specialty meat products according to department standards.
- Wrap, weigh, label, merchandise, and display fresh meat products in a clean, attractive, and organized manner.
- Assist customers with meat selection, custom cuts, special orders, and product recommendations.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, freshness, and quality standards throughout the meat department.
- Receive, inspect, rotate, and stock meat deliveries to support daily department operations.
- Keep work areas, tools, equipment, display cases, and refrigerated spaces clean, safe, and organized.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire, permanent position.
- Location: Multiple Miami-Dade County locations, including Miami, Doral, Hialeah, Coral Gables, and nearby areas.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Cut, trim, bone, grind, and prepare fresh meat products for retail and food service customers.
- Prepare custom meat orders and provide customer recommendations.
- Maintain fresh meat displays, labeling, merchandising, and department organization.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.

- Previous experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or meat department professional is required.
- 3 to 5 years of butcher, meat cutter, or related meat department experience is preferred.
- Strong knife skills and hands-on experience cutting beef, pork, and poultry.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with fluent Spanish and at least conversational English required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service, retail market, grocery, supermarket, restaurant, or steakhouse environment.
- Commitment to quality, cleanliness, freshness, teamwork, and safe food handling practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in grocery stores, meat markets, supermarkets, restaurants, steakhouses, or specialty food environments.
- Experience preparing Argentine-style cuts, specialty meat products, or custom butcher orders.
- Ability to work effectively with master butchers and continue learning advanced meat cutting techniques.
