The thoracic team operates within a dynamic, multi-site environment with access to advanced surgical technology and strong collegial support.

Opportunity:
Physician Assistant – Surgery

Job Details:

• Join a Thoracic Surgery team covering FMLA leave beginning late July
• First assist in the OR for thoracic (non-cardiac) surgical cases
• See and manage office patients as part of the clinical team
• Provide inpatient care including rounding, admissions, and discharges
• Must have Thoracic (non-cardiac) and Robotic surgical experience
• Majority of cases are minimally invasive, including foregut and lung surgery
• Schedule is 3-4 days per week with 10-hour shifts
• Coverage across multiple hospital facilities in the Hartford Healthcare network
• Flu vaccination required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
