Advance your career in preclinical research in Worcester, MA! A top-tier global pharma leader is seeking a motivated Scientist II to join an innovative immunosafety team. In this hands-on, 100% onsite laboratory role, you will perform critical in vitro immunology assays to support drug discovery and safety evaluations.

responsibilities:
- Execute hands-on in vitro immunology assays, including T-cell proliferation, cytokine release, and dendritic cell co-cultures.
- Perform primary human immune cell culture and multi-color flow cytometry panel design and analysis (minimum 8-color panels).
- Handle primary human immune cell samples (PBMCs) and perform complex sample preparation.
- Accurately document experimental data, results, and procedures following standard lab protocols.
- Troubleshoot technical assay challenges and collaborate effectively with cross-functional scientific teams.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in immunology, cell biology, or related field with 5+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with multi-color flow cytometry (minimum 8 colors).
- Direct experience handling human primary immune cells (e.g., PBMCs).
- Proven experience executing T-cell proliferation assays.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and troubleshooting skills in a laboratory setting.
Preferred:
- Biotech or pharma industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with cytokine release and dendritic cell co-culture assays.
