Internship Learning Opportunities Include:
Field Work: Gain practical experience in conducting fieldwork and data collection. This may include tasks like traffic count data collection, infrastructure condition surveys, and qualitative and quantitative traffic operations evaluations.
Project Team Collaboration: Contribute to project teams, participating in technical analyses and written documentation. Projects encompass a range of areas, including traffic impact studies, corridor studies, transportation safety analyses, bicycle and pedestrian plans, areawide transportation plans, and traffic design tasks.
Research Opportunities: Engage in research on various transportation operations and planning topics. Explore different facets of the industry and develop a deeper understanding of key issues.
Client Interaction: Play a supporting role in presentations and explore opportunities to observe and learn from client-facing aspects of consulting to enhance your communication skills.
