What To Expect
As part of the Workplace team, the Valet Attendant will provide oversight to parking demand and valet services for Tesla's Fremont sites. The Valet Coordinator will join the dynamic Workplace team and support environmental sustainability initiatives by growing and supervising our Electronic Vehicle Charging Program through tracking and analyzing data, educating stakeholders on current demand, and continued growth of resources to increase vehicle throughput. The Workplace Team’s mission is to create an environment for our high performing teams that allows them to realize their true potential. What You'll Do Welcome employees and provide superb valet and customer experienceFollow safety guidelines to operate, charge, and park a variety of employee electrical vehicles to maximize parking lot capacityIntake and conduct visual inspections of preexisting vehicle damage and maintain accurate records of vehicle intake and damage claimsWork closely with other valet attendants and staff to ensure smooth operations including key management, safe handling of vehicles, and traffic control to avoid damageAssist with valet at various sites and serve as a point of contact for Tesla onsite and offsite parking lots and facilitiesConduct frequent vehicle inspections while vehicle is valeted for charging, securing windows, and doorsProvide assistance with valet or parking support during events or high traffic periods

Essential Physical Demands
Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time and run including over varied and uneven terrainFrequently and repetitively, sit and operate a vehicle for an extended periodCapable of bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and crouching to operate and inspect a vehicleAbility to drive and operate manual vehicles, grip charger to connect/remove from vehicle and carry signage/traffic control equipment up to 15 lbs.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions such as rain, heat, or coldAbility to maintain focus and spatial awareness when operating a vehicle

Expected Compensation
$20.20 - $30.30/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
