Five Guys Burgers and Fries – Assistant General Manager

What You'll Do

• Lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to crew members
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
• Maintain high standards for food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and execution
• Train, coach, and develop team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Support cash handling and daily operational tasks
• Create a positive and productive work environment
• Help drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence
• Assist the General Manager with operational duties such as food ordering, inventory, scheduling, and weekly reporting.
• Help ensure smooth restaurant operations and execution of company standards when the General Manager is not present.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Recent restaurant or food service experience required
• Previous restaurant leadership experience required
• ServSafe certification preferred (additional compensation available for certified managers)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and develop team members
• Sense of urgency, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
